MAXIMUM BLADE CUTTING DEPTHS &
OPERATING SPEEDS
Depth: The listed cutting depth above is an approximation. Cutting depth will vary with diameter of the blade, diameter of the flanges, and saw type. If the saw components (such as motor housing or the blade guard) extend below the blade flanges, the cutting depth will be reduced. The general optimum performance range for cutting concrete and masonry products are 10% (based on 9,500 SFPM-Surface Feet Per Minute). The optimum performance speed for hard, dense materials (such as stone and tile) is 10-25% less than the speeds shown in the chart. The blade shaft speed (RPM's at no load) for most tools will be higher than the recommended operating speeds listed in the chart. The actual blade shaft speed of the tool will be slower under load, and should fall within the optimum speed range. WARNING: Improper use of this blade could result in serious injury. Do not exceed maximum RPM or exert side stress. Always wear protective glasses. Use the blade guards on the machine. Comply with ANSI B7.1 safety code and OSHA regulations. |
